How Poets Are Losing Their Illusions is a 1985 Czech comedy, the second in a series of films about a young, ideological poet, Štěpán Šafránek, who is studying to be a doctor. The film focuses on the main character's romantic relationships but is also filled with social commentary.
It's a kind of poetic comedy. No horrors, no killers, no action, just normal life of a young student. It's a bit romantical, but not so much. It pleases you heart. You can really feel like the main hero and his friends. There are four movies in this series, this is the second chronologically, but maybe the best of them.IMDB Reviewer
