When Michaela loses her job her life starts to fall apart. Flatmate Stephanie has always supported her, and now that support is financial as well. As Stephanie helps Michaela they meet two men who run a nightclub. With a distraction caused by gangsters attempting to move in on the club Stephanie's relationship is soon on the rocks while Michaela's is working. As Michaela rebuilds her world Stephanie's falls apart leading to a destructive climax. Entwinement is a powerful psychological drama that shows life in Newcastle in a new and contemporary light.
