Argentinean screenwriter and director Hernán Belón's feature film debut which he co-wrote with Valeria Radivo is an Argentinean-French-Italian co-production which had it's world premiere at the International Film Critics Week in Venice 2011. It tells the story about Elisa and Santiago and their little daughter Mathilda, who leaves their life in Buenos Aires and goes on vacation to a house they have rented in the countryside. The married couple are as happy as any couple in love could be, but already after the first night in their new temporary home, Elisa begins to feel uncomfortable about the place.

Subtly and acutely directed by Hernán Belón, this reflective, humane and dialog-driven directorial debut, draws a moving and involving portrayal of a passionate relationship between a practical man and a perceptible woman who's different reactions on their transition from their life in the city to a new life on the countryside, causes conflicts. With an efficient narrative structure, naturalistic milieu depictions and nature as symbolic backdrop, this gripping independent film conveys a finely paced story about interpersonal relations, communication, love, marriage and life.

Notable for its fine cinematography by cinematographer Guillermo Nieto and with a subtle score by Antonio Fresa and Luigi Scialdone which emphasizes the both romantic and mysterious atmosphere, this universal love-story which depicts two merging studies of character is reinforced by Argentinean actor Leonardo Sbaraglia and Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi's heartfelt acting performances and the significant presence of the child who plays the two main characters daughter. A mindful drama which gained the award for Best Actor Leonardo Sbaraglia at the Amiens International Film Festival in 2011.
