Volume 2: 1936-1939
Volume 2 deals with the period 1936 to 1939. It covers the massive re-armament of the German military; the friendship pact with Mussolini and the Italian Fascist Party; the German support of Franco in the Spanish Civil War; the English and French declaration of war and the mobilization of Germany's great war machine towards the West amongst other subjects.
