The Team Trimble Solutions is pleased to announce the availability of Novapoint 2024.1 (5107) is the design toolset in Trimbles extensive BIM solution for infrastructure projects – allowing civil engineers to effectively design all aspects of modern roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, water and sewer.
In this version we are changing the naming convention - this release will be named Novapoint 2024.1, to indicate that it´s the first version of 2024.

NOVAPOINT LAND USE
Novapoint Land Use is discontinued from Novapoint 2024.
NOVAPOINT TERRAIN
Novapoint Terrain is discontinued from Novapoint 2024.
NOVAPOINT ROAD
- ENHANCEMENT: Copy full detailed pavement description between surfaces simplifying that operation.
- FIXED: Pavement and advanced softspot removal.
- FIXED: Sight analysis sidearea overlay (snow or other hinderances) on left side was not properly handled.

- FIXED: Errors in train cross-section and ballast calculations.
NOVATRACK
- ENHANCEMENT: Possibility to lift and sink the vertical alignment.

The program has been updated with support for a number of the new signs launched by the Finnish Road Administration 01.06.2020 and updated in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The new version of the sign program can for a transitional period run in parallel with the version of the program that supports the previous standard.
