STAAD Foundation Advanced 2024 (24.00.01.87)

The Bentley's STAAD development team is pleased to announce the availability of STAAD Foundation Advanced 2024 (24.00.01.87). This release represents the new generation STAAD Foundation product and has some enhancements over the capabilities of the last released 24.00.00 version.

What's new in STAAD Foundation Advanced 2024 (24.00.01) - Date: February 19, 2025
The main enhancement in this release is as follows:

- Isolated and combined footings designed to IS 456 2000 code.

Bundled with this release of STAAD Foundation Advanced 2024, is a minor update of STAAD Foundation Advanced version 9, numbered 9.7.6. There have only been some minor security and UI updates in this release.



STAAD Foundation Advanced a software package for the analysis and design of a variety of foundations. These include general foundation types such as isolated, combined footings, pile caps, slab on grade or on piles (mat foundations), octagonal, strap, and, plant foundations such as vertical vessel and heat exchanger foundations. A part of the STAAD family of products, STAAD Foundation Advanced can import and update the geometry, loads, and reactions from a STAAD.Pro model after which it will design the foundation type that we want at those supports.
STAAD Foundation Advanced 2024 is the next generation software for modelling, analysis and design of foundation structures and their components. This represents a significant advancement and alteration over how its predecessor STAAD Foundation Advanced V9 handled foundation analysis and design. This is the second release of the new generation foundation application after the release of SFA 2023. There also has been a significant enhancement in the analysis and design capabilities over the 2023 version. These releases of this new generation STAAD Foundation Advanced look significantly different from V9 and earlier releases. It has been developed with the intent of easing the modeling process, improving visualization and output, allowing greater control in the rebar design and detailing, and providing an overall, more productive experience for structural engineers.
