The Lockheed Martin Corporation development team is pleased to announce the availability of Prepar3D V5.4 (5.4.9.28482). This update includes a large number of performance, stability, and usability improvements across the entire platform. General application performance has been improved through better background thread performance. The GPS and flight planning systems have been updated offering greater control and flexibility for add-on developers. Various VR fixes and improvements make VR setup and calibration easier and more user friendly. Additionally numerous bugs identified by the community have been fixed offering greater application stability.

- GPS now handles proper hold entries (Direct, Teardrop, or Parallel) depending on the approaching course relative to the holding pattern. DME also correctly displays distance from the hold fix.
