InnovMetric PolyWorks 2017 IR12

InnovMetric Software Inc., has announced the launch of PolyWorks 2017 IR12, the latest release of the company’s universal 3D metrology software platform.

General

Fixed issue:
- Issues with the STEP CAD model importer have been fixed.
PolyWorks|Inspector
- Performance of the Best-Fit Measurement Objects alignment has been improved for projects containing a large number of Data objects and measurement objects.
- Performance has been improved when creating comparison points by probing in cases where many Reference objects are used (that is, not ignored).
- Fixed issues:
. A software crash when editing control views has been fixed.
. Features could not be picked on cross-sections if the source Reference object was not visible.
. Display issues with trimmed and hemmed edge comparison points have been fixed
