Autodesk has released REVIT 2026.1.0. This update bringing a set of focused updates aimed squarely at streamlining advanced workflows. This incremental release introduces targeted improvements that enhance computational design workflows with Dynamo 3.5, simplify model navigation, and accelerate the transition from design to analysis. Dynamo 3.5 for Revit: Enhanced visual programming
Revit 2026.1 ships preloaded with Dynamo Core 3.5, offering new nodes and usability improvements that empower advanced users to automate and customize Revit workflows more efficiently. Key features include:
- New Curve Mapper Node: A visual, intuitive way to redistribute numbers along different curve types (linear, bezier, sine, cosine, parabolic, perlin noise, power, square root, gaussian). Drag control points or change curve types via a drop-down. This functionality is ideal for advanced parametric design, façade panelization, or any workflow requiring data transformation along a curve.
- Advanced list manipulation nodes: Handy for managing coordinates, dimensions, or textual data like room names.
. List.ReplaceItemAtIndices: Replace multiple items in a list at once-no more reliance on custom nodes for batch replacements.
. List.GroupBySimilarity: Useful for navigating pesky spelling errors or mixes of capitalization in your model.
- Paneling node enhancements: A new trim option for paneling nodes (experimental), allowing more control over panel boundaries in computational design workflows.
- Node Autocomplete improvements: Node placement is more precise, with visual cues and auto-wiring for faster graph building.
- Improved Package Manager: A step-by-step wizard for package creation, including version compatibility info, streamlines sharing and managing custom Dynamo content.

Performance and usability improvements
By reducing lag, optimizing memory usage, and streamlining navigation, project teams can work more efficiently on large, complex models while lowering hardware costs and boosting productivity.
- Accelerated views performance: Activating the Accelerated Graphics (Tech Preview) in 2D and 3D views is now, on average based on internal Autodesk testing, 15% faster with optimized memory usage reducing system RAM needs by 5–20%.* This results in quicker activation of the accelerated view and improved responsiveness, especially when working with large, multi-view models. Usability improvements in Revit 2026.1 and improving the navigation experience deliver new efficiencies to save time and reduce repetitive work.
- In-canvas section, elevation, callout, and view reference parameter editing: Edit view reference parameters directly in the canvas—no need to detour into the Properties palette. Both single and multi-line parameters are supported, making label management more intuitive and less error prone.


- Keyboard shortcuts for placed views and sheet commands: New shortcuts for opening views, editing schedules, moving elements, and navigating between views/sheets are now available. This speeds up repetitive tasks for documentation-heavy workflows.
- Revised double-click options and View Open command: Provides more granular control over double-click behavior and the ability to open placed views directly from sheets, reducing clicks and making navigation more predictable and efficient.

Structural enhancements: Smarter, connected models
New automated analytical model setup and design code-driven load combinations reduce manual data entry and coordination errors, accelerating design-to-analysis cycles and supporting more reliable project delivery.
- Load Combinations automation: Automate Load Combination creation based on available design codes, centralizing and enriching BIM model data for use with multiple analysis and design tools, ensuring consistency from analysis through design documentation.


- Quick access and preselection: Structural physical model objects can now be preselected for analytical automation with customizable settings and consistent selection modification. This accelerates the setup of analytical models for structural analysis.
- Preview Alignment Planes: Visualize aligning grids and detected references in horizontal planes before committing to automation, ensuring that analytical models would be correctly aligned together reflecting engineers’ expectations.
In addition, we are streamlining the detailing process of your reinforced concrete work:
- Flip Rebar direction: Flip the direction of rebars—including hooks, cranks, and end treatments—with a single click or via the right-click menu for multiple bars, reducing the time spent in manual adjustments.


Also, this month marks the official release of the Autodesk Data Exchange Connector for Revit, moving out of beta. It enables a seamless exchange of granular data subsets between Revit and downstream applications, streamlining collaboration and accelerating data-centric workflows.
