Ortho Insulation Improvements
Insulation is now displayed with pipe objects in orthographic drawings. You can choose to either hide the insulation lines, hide the pipe lines behind the insulation, or show the pipe lines behind the insulation in an orthographic drawing.


On an existing ortho drawing, you can use the Insulation tool to place an insulation symbol together with the insulation type and thickness along the pipe.


You can see a transparent insulation along with insulated piping in a 3D model. You can also export a 3D piping drawing with insulation to AutoCAD.


Single PCF Per Isometric Drawing
The matching single PCF files can now be created along with the generated isometric drawings after enabling the functionality in IsoConfig.xml.


Autodesk Collaboration for AutoCAD Plant 3D
The collaboration service is now based on the latest BIM 360 technology, making it faster and more stable. Aside from replacing BIM 360 Team with the Document Management module in BIM 360, the collaboration workflow remains the same.


BIM 360 Design is a cloud-based solution that integrates with AutoCAD Plant 3D 2021 toolset to provide an enhanced cloud collaboration experience. In this release, you can now directly share a cloud-based file between AutoCAD Plant 3D and the Document Management module on the BIM 360 platform.


By leveraging the Document Management module, permission management is now available in the collaboration workflow. With this feature, the project teams and the extended stakeholders can securely collaborate and share files and data across locations and disciplines.


New audit capabilities are also available for collaboration projects. Prior to this release, you could only audit a locally cached project. This release allows you to audit and resolve any issues in a project database that is stored in the cloud.
