Scientists have said the human body should last at least 150 years. Yet the life expectancy of an average American male today is about 76 years – nearly half of what science says. The good news is that we are doing a lot better than the turn of the century when the average life expectancy for a male was about 46 years.
How have we gotten to where we are and what will it take to get to the 150 year mark?
The answer is simple. Good health and better medicine. When we came up with the idea for What Doctors Know, the driving force was to inform and educate our readers on how to be healthier and live longer. Healthy living information comes in two forms: details about diet and exercise and providing information on medical breakthroughs.
