Jessica Lynette Brooks is a model, photographer, and Playboy Centerfold creator from the Pacific Northwest with a deep love for adventure and stories. “Growing up a military brat, I traveled at an early age and developed a strong sense of wanderlust over the years,” shares Jessica. “I had too much of an artistic temperament to follow in those footsteps, so it was a dream to find a career that allows me to continue traveling and pursuing my creative passions.” A fan of fantasy, Jessica tells us that she gets her inspiration from timeless films. “I’ve always been drawn to cinema from the 1920s-1960s. There’s a certain glamour to the storytelling and imagery that’s always drawn me in,” she says. “This era of cinema, along with fairytales, and Greek mythology, are where I pull my creative inspiration from.” Jessica does so both in front of and behind the camera. “What I love most about my job is the storytelling,” she says. “Retelling these well-known stories from my perspective and interpretation creates intimacy between the viewer and me.” We first met Jessica through her photographer, Tina Louise. “My Playboy experience thus far? Amazing! Going from modeling to being a creator on Centerfold, I’ve been given so much freedom in how I express myself,” says Jessica. Her unique vision and artistry allow her to feel grounded and confident in her work. “I feel most empowered when given creative input in the projects I’m hired for,” she says. “It turns me from just being a pretty body into a muse and collaborator.” What is Jessica up to when she’s not working? “When not on the road, I’m usually at home with my two cats reading, editing photos, and watching old movies,” she says. “Also, going to the gym!
