“I met Gabriela on Instagram and we decided to collaborate. I took a bus through the night from Mexico City to Xalapa and she met me at the station just before dawn. We walked among the old Spanish buildings talking and snapping candid photos to become familiar with each other a little. She had obtained an old ranch on the outskirts of Xico for us to shoot at so we took a taxi out of the city stopping to sample Torito from a roadside stand. The next 8 hours were magical.”Allen James Teague
