April Iman for LIONS Magazine

April Iman was born in Singapore but growing up, she moved every few years from one city to another, including
Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Paris, and Tokyo. She is currently based in Mexico. Both of her parents are of mixed heritage, which makes April Iman super mixed blood and gives her that unique, exotic look.

April Iman got her start in the entertainment industry with beauty pageants – the most notable one being Miss Universe. She joined Miss Universe Singapore when she was nineteen, and clinched first runner-up. She had taken a semester off university (Waseda University in Tokyo) to join the pageant, but wanted to return to Tokyo to resume her education. Though she is based in Tokyo, April Iman has also posed for international magazines, across the US and other countries.
