Thirty years later, at the dawn of the sixties, the musical maturity and inner strength of female voices are the hallmark of the golden age of vocal jazz. These two periods come together here to restore its place to the “Art Deco” aesthetic that defined the song of the 1920s and to highlight the aesthetic journey that made the 1950s and 1960s the golden age of female vocal jazz.
