Speaking in Tongues is the fifth studio album by the band Talking Heads, released in 1983. The album was a commercial breakthrough that produced the band's first (and only) American Top 10 hit, "Burning Down the House", which was accompanied by a promotional video.

On Duets: Re-Working The Catalogue, Van Morrison and the guests selected and recorded some of his songs from the catalog of 360 songs across his career. Deliberately steering away from his more well-known classics, Van enlisted some of the artists he most respects to perform these songs with him to re-craft and re-imagine them. The album was recorded in his home town of Belfast and London in the United Kingdom over the last year, using a variety of musicians and fresh arrangements. Produced by Van Morrison along with Don Was and Bob Rock, the album features duet performances with Bobby Womack, Steve Winwood, Mark Knopfler, Taj Mahal, Mavis Staples, Michael Bublé, Natalie Cole, George Benson, Gregory Porter, Clare Teal, P.J. Proby, Joss Stone, Georgie Fame, Mick Hucknall, Chris Farlowe, and Van's daughter Shana Morrison.

The set of 10 classic re-recordings of Rodgers hit classics from his repertoire with Free and Bad Company as well as solo tributes to Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix. The miracle is that these renditions are just as powerful as the originals, due in part to the stellar lineup of accompanying players: Jason Bonham on drums, Pino Palladino on bass and guitarists Reeves Gabrels, Jeff Beck, Andy Summers, Neal Schon, Adrian Vandenberg, Ian Hatton and Rodgers himself. Rodgers vocal ability just gets better as he ages and he proves just how good he is on this disc.

Walking the Blues is arguably the finest record Otis Spann ever cut, boasting 11 cuts of astounding blues piano. On several numbers, Spann is supported by guitarist Robert Jr. Lockwood and their interaction is sympathetic, warm, and utterly inviting. Spann relies on originals here, from "Half Ain't Been Told" to "Walking the Blues," but he also throws in a few standards ("Goin' Down Slow," "My Home Is in the Delta") that help draw a fuller portrait of his musicianship. Most importantly, however, is the fact that Walking the Blues simply sounds great - it's some of the finest blues piano you'll ever hear.

Jerry Reed was a country singer, guitarist and songwriter, whose also became a movie actor, appearing more then a dozen films. His primary era of fame and chart success was in the late ‘60s and then the ‘70s and ‘80s, but with his roots in country in his early career he established a significant reputation during the 1950s and early ‘60s, operating across the boundaries of country, rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll, and had his first pop chart entries. He was also a much-in-demand session guitarist on the records of his label-mates. This 58-track 2-CD collection comprises the A & B sides of singles under his own name on the Capitol, Columbia and NRC labels during these years, along with tracks on which he was a session guitarist, and often composer, by Ric Cartey, The Rockateers, Paul Peek, Johnny Sea, Sweetie Jones, Gini Hayes and country legend Porter Wagoner. It features his US pop chart entries “Soldiers Joy”, Love And War (Ain’t Much Difference In The Two)” and “Hully Gully Guitars”. He became a hugely influential and high-profile personality in later years and this early-years collection makes it clear how he acquired that reputation, as well as offering an enlightening insight into his talents across every aspect of the music, as composer, guitarist and singer.

The positive response to our first two CDs in this series has shown that the transfer of the solo part of Handels organ concertos to todays piano is a logical and obvious move. Johann Sebastian Bachs harpsichord concertos belong to the standard repertoire of all world-class pianists, and the same principle truly applies to Handel.
