South Korean violin virtuoso Dami Kim has, in recent years, firmly established herself as one of the eminent young, rising stars of the international concert stage.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute, New England Conservatory and the Kronberg Academy, where she studied with Aaron Rosand, Miriam Fried and Mihaela Martin, and current Doctoral student of Philip Setzer and Jennifer Frautschi at Stony Brook University, Dami is a former major prize winner at the Joseph Joachim, Paganini, Munetsugu Angel, Sendai, Michael Hill and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competitions.

Her recent orchestral debuts include solo performances with the NDR Philharmonie, Philadelphia Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Macau Orchestra, Orchestra Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Seoul Phil Orchestra, the KBS Orchestra, the Wuhan Phil Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Thailand Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Kremerata Baltica.
