Technodon is the eighth and final studio album to date by Yellow Magic Orchestra and released in 1993, a decade after the band's original breakup. Because the name Yellow Magic Orchestra was owned by former record label Alfa Records, the band were forced to release the album under the name YMO (typically stylized as the "YMO" initialism crossed out by a large "X"). For the tour that followed, they were billed as Not YMO.

The Presidents of the United States of America (occasionally referred to as PUSA, The Presidents or Pot USA) was an American alternative rock power trio band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1993. The three-piece group's initial line-up consisted of vocalist and bassist Chris Ballew, drummer Jason Finn, and guitarist Dave Dederer; Dederer eventually left the group and was replaced by Andrew McKeag. The band released six studio albums and was best known for its hits "Lump" and "Peaches", released in 1995 and 1996 respectively. Reuniting the best session musicians Japan had to offer to make an album that would evoke the atmospheres of South Pacific islands, the kind of places Japanese people spend their vacations in. Pacific (1978) is a treat to the ears; its theme of the southern Pacific ocean and its warm cerulean waters relax its listeners with a fusion of city pop, soft jazz, and that good old 1970’s funk while remaining surprisingly fully instrumental throughout all contributions from artists Haruomi Hosono, Shigeru Suzuki, and Tatsuro Yamashita. A true cult LP and an inspiration for a lot of, so called, “vaporware” music.

The genre of string quartet emerged in the middle of the eighteenth century as music for leisure, but the works of Haydn and Mozart turned it into a phenomenon of high art. Beethoven continued the tradition by creating sixteen string quartets between 1799 and 1826. Almost all of them were devised for the professional string quartet formed in the 1790s in Vienna and led by Ignaz Schuppanzigh. The ensemble was in the service of Prince Karl Lichnowsky and Count Andrei Razumovsky who were patrons of art, and began to perform chamber music in public concerts in the 1820s.

'Emergence' is the debut release by dark ambient artist, Default Patron, exploring the depths of cinematic music and sinister soundscapes.
