John Harle (born 20 September 1956) is an English saxophonist, composer, educator and record producer.

The Baltic Sea Philharmonic’s latest album Sleeping Beauty will be released on 13 November. The new Sony Classical recording sees Kristjan Järvi conducting the orchestra in his own arrangement of Tchaikovksy’s fairytale ballet Sleeping Beauty.

A Posteriori is a studio album by German musical project Enigma. It is Enigma's 6th album. In December 2006, the album was nominated in the Best New Age Album category in the 2007 Grammy Awards. While the previous album, Voyageur, contained minimal amounts of the project's signature sounds, A posteriori only contains the signature "Enigma horn" (a foghorn) during the opening minute of the album, and even then it is a fleeting glimpse. Coupled with the album's subject matter of the collision of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies, A posteriori is, compared to earlier releases, stark and foreboding.

The recording proposed to us by the Gregorian Schola of the Cathedral of the Holy Saviour and titular organist Grégoire Rolland has taken the bold step of bringing face-to-face the most ancient Western Christian musical tradition and the creativity of today’s artist, not as a forced encounter of two universes, but in profound communion, proof that grace has not ceased bearing fruit.

The three sets of Liszt’s Années de pèlerinage take the listener on a journey not only through the geographical regions that inspired the composer, Switzerland and Italy, but on a voyage through his own personal development, becoming increasingly inward-looking and spiritual with each cycle. The first set, Suisse, already displays much of that psychological scope, with works of quintessential Romanticism: poetic, evocative and wide-ranging in their emotional landscape. The second set, Italie, is even more organic and compact in its conception, and in the final set we hear an older composer reflecting on life and death in music characterised by impressionistic colours and profound spiritual depth.

The fact that the commissioned composers are none other than Michael Pisaro and Magnus Granberg speaks volumes about the high esteem in which IMO is held… This album is not Marcus Granberg's first outing on Insub; his impressive 2017 album Nattens Skogar (Version For Four Players), in the company of Cyril Bondi, d'incise and the Swedish violinist Anna Lindal, had that distinction and forged links which led to this IMO album.

This three track digital EP was issued as a single on digital storefronts and streaming platforms. It was issued as part of the All That You Can’t Leave Behind 20th anniversary editions. When those albums were released on October 30, 2020, three mixes were not released to streaming services, meaning the only way you could hear the full set of remixes was the buy the album. But those three remixes were released to streaming services on November 13, 2020 as a standalone EP titled Trilogy. The master of the tape loop returns with "Lamentations", yet another collection of eroded drone for low-light dreamers, captured and constructed from tape loops and studies from Basinski’s archives – dating back to 1979 – Lamentations is over forty years of mournful sighs meticulously crafted into songs. They are shaped by the inevitable passage of time and the indisputable collapsing of space – and their collective resonance is infinite and eternal.
