Born in Munich in 1991, Pacini began her studies at the age of ten as a pupil of Karl-Heinz Kämmerling at the Salzburg Mozarteum, where she was accepted two years later by the newly founded Institute for Highly Gifted Students. From 2007 she continued her studies in master classes given by Pavel Gililov, completing her diploma in 2011 with honours. In 2010 she became acquainted with Martha Argerich, who invited her the following year to give a recital as part of the Martha Argerich Project in Lugano and who has since become an important figure in the young pianist’s career.

Thirty-five years old and still going strong, The Yellowjackets aren’t letting a little matter like the third bass player in as many albums break their stride. One of the top quality electric jazz bands over these three and half decades now welcomes its newest bass virtuoso in Australian Dane Alderson just in time for their latest release Cohearence. Still comprising of Bob Mintzer on reeds, Will Kennedy on drums and sole remaining founding member Russell Ferrante on keys, the Yellowjackets retain plenty enough heritage to still be very much the Yellowjackets, enough that the ever-changing bass chair hadn’t prevented the band from reeling off a string of consistently strong long players at a time when most long-running concerns are winding down. Cohearence continues that winning streak.

Antonín Dvorák had about as much luck with the dedicatee of his violin concerto, the great Joseph Joachim, as Tchaikovsky had with his, the no less illustrious Leopold Auer. Although Joachim agreed to do a critical analysis of the first draft — resulting in a radical reworking of the piece – he did not give the premiere of the finished article, that privilege instead falling to the young Czech violinist František Ondrícek (1857–1922), in Prague on 14 October 1883.

The Boss is the ninth solo studio album released by Diana Ross. Released on the Motown records label. The Boss marked the return of Diana Ross to Top 40 radio thanks to the title track. It was certified a Gold record by the RIAA in late 90's.

Written and produced almost entirely by Ashford & Simpson, this solo self-titled debut from Diana Ross was released in 1970 only months after her final appearance with the Supremes. It proved to be a massive success, selling over 500,000 albums and yielding two huge hits, the number one single Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Reach Out And Touch (Somebody's Hand), which together sold almost two million copies. Ross also earned a Grammy nomination, the first of many during her solo career.

The chart-topping success of Dean Martin's spring 1964 single "Everybody Loves Somebody" rejuvenated his recording career, and it created considerable demand for his records where there hadn't been much before. As a result, Reprise Records had to scramble, quickly issuing an Everybody Loves Somebody LP that consisted of the hit and tracks borrowed from other albums and singles.

With over nine million copies sold worldwide, Diana remains the most successful solo release of Diana Ross' career, entirely written, performed and produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of Chic. The hit singles contained on Diana helped propel the album into the upper reaches of the charts, peaking at number two in the US and number 12 in the UK.
