Reika Fuji by Shun Sasaki

Shun Sasaki was born and raised in Iwate, Japan, then had lived in the US for 15 years. He has a cinema and photography background and a BA degree from Southern Illinois University. Sasaki has won numerous photographic awards and has had the opportunity to show his work in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, and Japan. His work covers fashion, beauty, portraiture and still life, and has graced the pages of Asian, European and US editorials including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Figaro, Marie Claire and L’Officiel. He shoots both stills and moving image commercially for fashion and cosmetic clients around the world such as Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Paul and Joe, Shiseido, Clinique and MAC Cosmetics. His works have a modern touch that exudes a high level of skill and craft adding a premium touch to commercial clients. The artwork of Shun Sasaki, who adds a fantastic sense of the world with his supple and fine texture, expresses lovely but sophisticated woman figure through his straight communication with the photographic subject. His photography, started his own career from fashion, is a live photo that captures the peak of photographic subject while sensitively capturing trend as well as being a fantasy. Sasaki is currently based in Tokyo, and working on multidisciplinary approaches to making commercial and creative contents.
